Please note: we get a lot of queries from people who are wanting to visit the Kuala Gandah elephant centre. The centre is owned and operated by the Malaysian government's Department of Wildlife and National Parks (DWNP). Our organization, the Malaysian Elephant Appeal, is a non-profit, non-governmental, volunteer-run entity that implements projects to improve conditions for the elephants at Kuala Gandah and to strengthen public awareness about elephant conservation and environmental issues.
We are not located on site and are not involved in the day-to-day management of the centre.
If you are interested in visiting Kuala Gandah, you should first call the office at Kuala Gandah
as they have a limit to the number of visitors they will allow per day.
